JFC– We face Blackhill in the Junior Championship Final this on Sunday 6th October at 4.15pm in Aughnamullen. We would like to wish all players and managers Matthew, John, Mark and Francis the very best of luck. Please come out and support the team in their efforts to become Junior Champions by coming out in force and wearing your club colours.
U17s- Hard luck to St.Pat’s U17s who lost to Emyvale in the Championship Semi Final on Saturday last. Thanks to the managers Anthony Brennan, Barry Tomany, Kevin Smyth and Colm Duffy for all their hard work this year. Well done to players and managers on a good season winning the Division 2 league and reaching the Division 1 Championship Semi Final.
U13– Our U13s have a tournament in Aughnamullen on Subday 13th October in the afternoon. More details will follow.
U11 Dan Markey Tournament- Takes place on Saturday 5th October at 10.30am. There will be 8 local teams participating. Lots of help will be needed in the kitchen and on the pitch. If people could bring refreshments it would be much appreciated. Help needed from 10am.
U7s & U9s- Our U7s & U9s teams will be playing Blackhill at half time of the Junior Championship Final this Sunday 6th October. Please wear club colours. Best of luck to all players and managers.
Breakfast Morning– Thanks to everyone who helped out at our breakfast morning on Sunday last, also a big thank you to anyone who sponsored food and to those who came out to support through their generous donations to Castleblayney and Ballybay Cancer Societies.
Get Well Soon- The club sends get well soon wishes to Jonathan Lavelle who suffered a broken collar bone during the U17 Semi Final on Saturday last. We wish him a very speedy recovery.
Congratulations– Well done to Nathan McDermott and Francis Conlon who played in Croke Park 2 weekends ago. It was a fantastic opportunity and the club was well represented by the 2 boys.
Flags– Flags, car flags and bunting are available to purchase at the centre tonight (Tuesday 1st Oct) and Friday night (4th Oct) from 7.45pm.
