Monaghan Electrical IFL – The seniors fell away to Castleblayney last Friday night the 9th of May  with the full-time score Drumhowan 0-10 Castleblayney 3-11.  The  score was close at half time  at 1-7 to 0-8  but in the second half Blayney scored a further 2 -4  to Drumhowan’s meagre total of 2 both kicked from play by Kevin Mooney Team and Scorers  David Traynor 0-2 (2p f), Tiarnan Reilly, Jonathan  Lavelle, Martin Quinn, Caolan Reilly 0-1,  Daragh Mc Elearney 0-2,  Killian Mc Adam, Ciaran Duffy, Patrick Quinn, Aodhan Brennan, Kevin Mooney 0-2, Aiden Quinn 0-1 (1 f), James Mc Adam 0-1,  Liam Mc Guirk,  Tom Doherty 0-1, Subs used :  Gerard Quinn, Jason Clarke, Jack Treanor, Cormac Duffy, Ronan Duffy. Platinum Tanks RFL Division 2 A– The Bs played Ballybay last night Wednesday 14th May. Please check website, app or social media for result.  Next game is not till Friday 30th May when Killanny are the visitors to Drumhowan.

Foxhound Travel U18 Division 2 – The game fixed for Tuesday night last the 13th of May v Aughnamullen was postponed. Next fixture for this team is next Tuesday night 20th of May in Ballybay at 7.30pm where Sean Mc Dermotts are the visitors.

Bogues Foodhall U16 Division 3 Shield – Tonight the 15th of May St. Patricks face Latton  away with a 7.30pm start. Next Thursday night the 22nd of May at 7.30pm St. Patricks are in Drumhowan  where Emerald O’Neills are the opposition.

Bogues Food Hall U14 Division 4 – Last Saturday the 10th of May the U14s lost on a 11-10 to 3-20 scoreline. Next game is Saturday 24th May at 11am  when O’ Neill Emeralds are the visitors to Páirc Mhic Eoin.

Academy and Cubs Training – Despite having fewer coaches last Saturday due to various events, the kids still had a fantastic Saturday morning session. On Friday evening, the U8s took part in their very first blitz—and they were brilliant! It’s a proud moment for everyone involved to see an Under-8 team take the field, reflecting the incredible effort put in at Cubs and Academy over the past two years. Huge well done to all the children who took part and to the coaches for their continued commitment!

Rounders – has recommenced. The ladies are looking for members both old and new. Once over the age of 16, age is not a barrier. Training takes place on the top field each Thursday night at 7pm.  Next game is away to Carrickmacross at present scheduled for May 25th.

Friends of Drumhowan – thanks to all those who have paid this already. This is a reminder to the few that haven’t please contact Clare Reilly or any committee member to pay.  This has to be paid if you want to be in the draw for All-Ireland tickets.
