Particular praise must go to Enda Duffy, Liam Mc Guirk, Kieran Mooney, Paddy Mulligan and Darren Duffy who won their 5th championship medals while not far behind was Kevin Mooney with 4.
After Match Meal – took place in the Glencarn Hotel on Sunday evening. There were close to 200 supporters and players present. Thanks to the hotel for providing such a lovely meal and also anyone who contributed towards the cost of it.
Ulster Junior Championship Quarter Final – with the Ulster campaign soon under way the team will be back training this weekend. The quarter final will take place in Shamrock Park, Roslea on Sunday 3 November at 2pm where Fermanagh Champions Aghadrumsee St Macartans will provide the opposition. This will be an all ticket game, tickets will have to be bought in advance and there will be none at the grounds on the day. More details on this next week.

Eurotech Junior Football League Final – between Aghabog and Toome took place in Drumhowan last Saturday 19 October. Toome emerged victorious in the end thanks to a Jason Murphy goal. They will join us in Intermediate ranks in 2025. Thanks to the many people who helped us organise things on the day.
Drumhowan Rounders – Tess Express – for the month of October everyone in the rounders team is running 40km to support #debraireland and the beautiful Tess, who lives with a painful and incurable skin condition. As part of this the Rounders team are hosting a 5km Family Fun Butterfly Walk on Bank Holiday Monday October 28 at 2pm. Scór na nÓg – Anyone interested in entering as a solo singer, ballad group, instrumental group, recitation or quiz team member please contact Emmet on 089 – 4944788 as soon as possible as the closing date for entries was 21 October. The quiz will take place in Latton on Thursday 7 November while the stage events will take place in Clontibret on Saturday 9 November. The All- Ireland will be held in Monaghan in January 2025. Remember to be eligible you need to be U17 in 2025.
Congratulations and Best Wishes – to Katie Mc Adam, Laura Quinn and Tara Reilly who won the LGFA Junior Championship with Aughnamullen after a replay against Killeevan a few weeks back, in particular Katie who got Player of the match in the replay. Good luck to them this Saturday as they take on Pearse Ógs, Armagh this Saturday 26 in the Ulster Quarter Final.
