Fixtures and Results 

Seniors – The next game in the championship is at home to Aghabog this Sunday 25 August with a 5pm start.  Please come along and support. Help also needed from 4pm for shop, stewards, etc.

U16s – St Kevin’s finished their Division 3 Group 2 Championship campaign with a narrow one point defeat to Corduff in Páirc Mhic Eoin last Thursday 15 July. Full time score was St. Kevin’s 4-11 Corduff 4-12. This ends their season. The club would like to thank all the players for their efforts all season and also coaches John Mc Ardle, Brendan Treanor, Gerry Coleman and Rory Mc Manus for their dedication and commitment over the past 2 seasons.

U14s – The U14s had a good win away to Doohamlet last Saturday17 August with a full time scoreline of Drumhowan 5-18 Doohamlet 3- 8. They have a bye in the final round with playoffs scheduled for September.

U12s – The U12s are away to Killanny this Saturday 24 August in the final round of the division 3 league.

Rounders – The ladies played Galway City Rapparees in the All Ireland Quarter Final last Sunday 18 August in Tymon Park Dublin and in the closest of the junior ladies All Ireland quarter finals they came out on the wrong scoreline 15-9. Many thanks to the ladies for all their hard work and dedication throughout the season.

Drumhowan Cubs’ and Academy – continues this Saturday morning.

Congratulations – to our cultural officer Emmet Mullholland and his wife Ursula on the birth of their son,  Iarlaith Gearóid, a little earlier in the month.

Save the Date – next Drumhowan Bingo will be on Friday September 20. Please keep an eye out on social media for further updates.

Thanks – to those who helped out in the two finals held in Drumhowan over the past week. On Sunday Truagh overcame Latton in the Platinum Tanks Reserve Division 3A final while on Tuesday evening Clontibret emerged victorious over Donaghmoyne in the Foxhound Travel Minor Division 2 League final.
