Upcoming fixtures and results: 
Seniors – secured a draw away to  Rockcorry in Round 4 of the Eurotech JFL on a scoreline of Drumhowan 1-13 Rockorry 1-13. Next game, at home,  is against Oram on Saturday 25th May with a 7pm throw in .  A speed recovery to both Enda  and Cormac  Duffy  who  both got injured in recent weeks.

Reserves – The  reserves played a preliminary Crawley Cup game v  Castleblayney last night  (Wednesday 15th May) in Páirc Mhic Eoin. Please check website or social media for a result.  Next  league game is away to Clones on  Wednesday  22 May at 8pm.

Minors – On Tuesday 14th May the minors lost out, away,  to near neighbours in a high scoring game. Full time score Drumhowan 3-15 Ballybay 5-13.  Next Tuesday 21st May they  are at home to Rockcorry  with a 7.30pm throw in.

U16s St. Kevin’s lost away to Eire Óg last Thursday  9th May  with the full score St. Kevin’s 1-14  Eire Óg 4-13.  This Thursday 16th they have a bye with the next game scheduled for Thursday  23rd in Doohamlet  with Rockcorry  the opposition.

U14s – In a high scoring game in Pearse Park  the home team Ballybay won on a 4-18  to 5-11  scoreline.  Next game for this  squad is a Division 4  Playoff  semi final v  Doohamlet, away  on Friday  17th May   at 6.30pm with the winners taking on Rockcorry  on Tuesday  21st May.  The winners of this will play  Ballybay in the semi final.

Drumhowan Cubs’ and Academy –  Last Saturday  the children had a blast playing football under sunny skies . Despite  a smaller turn out due to various events like communions it was still a fantastic morning with the children treating themselves to ice cream afterwards. Huge thanks to all coaches  and see everyone once again this Saturday at 9.30am

Congratulations to Tara Reilly & Katie Mc Adam who recently got their Ulster & All Ireland Ladies Senior A medals for Our Lady’s Castleblaney, well done girls.

Sympathy –   Francie Mooney, Drumgarra was buried in Ballintra yesterday, Wednesday 15th May. At this stage we would like to extend our sympathy to brothers Mick, Seán, Pat and Barney, sister Rita Ward and all the extended family. We also extend  sympathy to  Mary and Francis Gerard Duffy, Conall, Ronan and Cormac, Drumlane,  on the death of Mary’s father Tom Connell who was buried in Castleblayney last  Saturday 11th May.
