Played in Páirc Sheáin Mhic Diarmada last Saturday the 14th of July the Bs secured a win in the last league game of the season. This win means a semi final appearance. The 1st half started slowly and Drumhowan kept in touch with free taking from Mark Mc Cabe who kicked 4 points from placed balls and another from play. Ciaran Duffy got Drumhowan’s other point of the half to leave the half time score Drumhowan 0-6 Sean Mc Dermotts 0-5.
The 2nd half proved to be more open. Seans starting the half brightly with two points. Colm Lambe who had come on as a sub for the injured Liam Mc Guirk opened the scoring for Drumhowan. In the best period of the game in the following 5 minutes Drumhowan kicked 5 unanswered points to lead 12 points to 7 with twenty minutes left. Seans then kicked two points before another Mark Mc Cabe score left 4 in with 10 minutes left. In the remaining minutes Seans got to within 2 before points were exchanged to leave three in it at the final whistle.

This victory now means a semi final away to Carrick on Wednesday 1st August with a 7.30pm throw in. Ballybay await the winners in the final.
