Platinum Tanks RFC Crawley Cup – Drumhowan made the journey up to Killanny last Saturday 23rd of May to take on the locals in the Crawley Cup Quarter Final. After leading for most of the game Killanny drew level near the end to leave the score at the end of normal time Drumhowan 3 – 8 Killanny 2 – 11. The game then went into extra time with Killanny scoring a further 4 points to Drumhowan’s solitary 1 to leave the full time score after extra time Drumhowan 3 – 9 Killanny 2 – 15. Next game in the league will be at home to Éire Óg on Wednesday 10th of June.
Monaghan Electrical IFL – this Sunday 31st of May Drumhowan take on Tyholland away at 4pm. A really must win game. Then next Wednesday 3rd June Emyvale finish off the 1st half of the league in Páirc Mhic Eoin with a throw in time of 8pm.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Division 1 – the U16s finished off their league campaign before the exam break with a win over fellow strugglers Donghmoyne in the south Monaghan Venue. The Full Time score finished St Patrick’s 2-16 Donaghmoyne 4 – 8. Their next game in this competition will be in July.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg Under 14 Div2 – Drumhowan were due to play Truagh on Tuesday evening the 26th of May. Please check facebook for a result. Next up is a game at home to Maghercloone on Saturday June 6th at noon.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Div 2 – We are away to Truagh on Monday morning next the Bank Holiday at 11.30am. All players should be in Truagh for 10.50. All support welcome. Please note the change of date for this game.
Under 10– This group had a busy week with two outings. First up was Monaghan Harps Community games team on Thursday evening last. After a pulsating game the town side emerged victors by 1 point on a scoreline of Monaghan Harps 5-9 Drumhowan 3-14. This was a real high end game with some excellent scores and displays by both sides. Drumhowan had the upper hand in the first half but a three goal burst in as many minutes put Harps in the driving seat in the middle of the second half. Well done to both teams, our ref Patrick Duffy and best of luck to Monaghan Harps in the Community Games competition.
Next Up was a Go Games Blitz in Rockcorry on Saturday morning. Despite been short a few regulars and fielding some younger players the boys put in some excellent displays over the four games against Rockcorry,Tyholland and Clones. Thanks to Rockcorry for a well run blitz and you can see some photos of the day on the Rockcorry website. Our panel on the day was Killian Mc Adam, Ciaran Keenan, Tristan Duffy, Jason Clarke, Conor Curran, Tiernan Reilly, Matthew Mc Dermott, Johnathan Lavelle, Tom Doherty,Eanna Curran, Darragh Mc Adam and Cian Mc Adam. Next Go Games Blitz is a competitive one in Cloghan on Saturday June 6th at 9.30am. Training continues on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7pm.
Under 7 – Drumhowan have been invited to play at Blackhill Sports on Bank Holiday Monday next in Blackhill. All players aged 5-6-7 should be in Blackhill for 3-15pm. Please come along and support as this is always an enjoyable family day out.
There will be no training on next Monday evening due to the bank holiday and games on earlier that day.
