Winter Program – Our very popular indoor training programme continues each Saturday evening during the month of November in Ballybay Recreation Centre from 5.30pm to 6-45pm. The coaching program is delivered by the club’s qualified coaches in a fun environment where children learn the basic skills to play Gaelic football. It is open to both boys and girls aged 5 to 11 years old. Newcomers are very welcome. Children should wear runners and track suit bottoms and take a small bottle of water with them along with one euro to cover the cost of renting the hall. See you all on this Saturday evening !
The Monaghan Games & Coaching Development committee in conjunction with the Ulster GAA have released dates a number of workshops that will take place during November, December and January. First up is ‘Review to Plan Ahead’ which takes place on Tuesday 25th November in Cloghan at 7.30pm. Next up is ‘Activate GAA Warm Up’ which takes place on Thursday 4th December at Cremartin GAA at 7.30pm. A workshop entitled ‘Fitness Testing & Developing a Programme’ is scheduled for Tuesday 6thJanuary at Cloghan at 7.30pm and finally ‘Planning the Pre-Season’ will take place on Tuesday 13th January in Cloghan at 7.30pm. Adult Drama Workshops For actors and directors aged 17-77 from any group or none, with vast experience or none will continue this Thursday night 20th November at 8.30pm in Drumhowan Community Centre and last for the next 3 weeks (each Thursday) Each session will be a maximum of €10 with the proceeds going to Drumhowan Community Group.

Model Toy and Mega Truck Show on Sunday 23rd November in the Glencarn Hotel Fron 12 to 6pm. Over 400ft of model toy displays inside and big trucks outside will be seen on the day . There will also be A FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS PARADE with all trucks leaving the Glencarn Hotel in a convoy on a truck run. Proceeds are for the Austic Unit in St.Oliver Plunketts NS, Loughmourne and the Holy Family School, Cootehill.
Congratulations to Inniskeen on reaching the AIB UIFC last Sunday. Their final will take place in Armagh on Sunday 30th November at 1.30pm
