Under 15 – A blitz takes place in Cloghan on tonight Thursday 16th. All players in Cloghan for 7pm. This will be the final piece of juvenile action on the pitch for 2014.
Under 13 – It was a busy week for this squad. First up was a blitz in Cloghan on Thursday night last. We were placed in a group along with
Killanny, Castleblayney and Oram. The boys performed very well and won all three games in the group stages. We then faced Monaghan Harps in the semi final where a poor first half left us behind at half time. We had a much improved performance after the break but just fell short to the Harps by a few scores in the end. On Sunday they headed to Latton to take part in the Jack Conlon Memorial Tournament. We defeated Ballybay in the semi final which left us in the final against the hosts Latton. We started of brightly but missed a few scoring chances. Overall Latton were a bigger stronger side and ran out deserving winners. Our boys tried their best and can be happy with their weekswork playing against stronger Division 1 opposition. After the game all players and supporters were treated to refreshments in Latton centre and the players received medals. Thanks to the Latton club for the invite and the hospitality.
Congratulations to our Senior Team Captain David Millar and Tracey on the birth of their son Daithí at the weekend.
Good Luck to all those who are representing the Club in Spraoi Scór tomorrow Friday night 17th October starting in Clontibret at 7pm.
