Universal Graphics JFC – reminder the JFC final will take place on Sunday 28th September at 3.30pm against neighbours Blackhill who we haven’t beaten at the last 4 attempts. Eurotech JFL Last night Wednesday 27th August we took on Scotstown in Páirc Mhic Eoin. We ran out convincing winners due to Scotstown travelling with a weakened side. The full time score was Drumhowan 0-21 Scotstown 0 – 8 .We took on Aughnamullen last night Wednesday 3rd September. Please check Twitter for a result. We take on Éire Óg on Saturday evening at 6.30pm
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Div 3 – Our U14s eventually reached the Div 3 Shield Final after it took 2 games to get over near neighbours Doohamlet. In the 1st game in Doohamlet an exciting draw was the final outcome The full time score was Drumhowan 8 -19 Doohamlet 7 – 16. The replay took place last Monday night 1st September in Drumhowan. After another exciting game this time Drumhowan remained victorious on a scoreline Drumhowan 5 -13 Doohamlet 0-16. We now play Éire Óg this Saturday 6th September in Cremartin at 1pm. Remember to come out and support this young team.

Drumhowan 4 – 12 Cremartin 3 – 7Congratulations to our U12 Team who captured the Div 2 A title last Saturday 30th August.
Drumhowan made a shaky start to this final and at one stage Drumhowan were down by 5 point in the 1st third. However they pulled it back to only a 1 point deficit at half time thanks to 2 goals and a point from James Mc Adam, 2 points by Shay Treanor and 1 from Aodhán Brennan. That left the score after the 1st 20 Drumhowan 2- 4 Creamartin 2 – 5 . In the middle 10 mins both teams played some exciting football.
For the final 20 minutes Drumhowan came out a new side and played some exciting football. James Mc Adam doubled his tally by scoring another 2 goals and a point and Shay Treanor added another 3 points to his tally. Cremartin attempted a come back but due to some great defending by all defenders especially Gerard Quinn their efforts were thwarted .Aodhán Brennan added another 2 points one from a free and both Lorcan Halpin and Caolán Reilly added a point each. Cremartin still tried hard but they couldn’t get through thanks to a number of great saves by goalkeeper Mark Tomany.

Under 10 – We are taking part in a 24 team tournament in Gowna on this Saturday September 6th. All players should be at Ballybay Community College for 8.10am sharp to travel over by bus. We will return home in the afternoon. It’s an early start so get to bed early on Friday night and have a good breakfast on Saturday morning.
Under 8 – There is supposed to be a Go Games Blitz on this Saturday with a 10am start . A Text to confirm will go out later in the week where it is taking place
U6 – U10 Monday Training will continue for a few more weeks – It will commence now at 6.45pm and its over for 7.45pm.
Sympathy – the club would like to offer it’s sympathy to Bríd Lambe on the death of her sister in law Rosie Carroll Ballybay. We would also like to offer our sympathy to the Hanratty family, Corfad on the death of Jim Hanratty who was buried in Ballybay last weekend.
