June to see the D Cube appear in Monaghan for the first time. More than any Dinner Dance!! 50 people from Monaghan, Tyrone, Armagh and Louth tried to see if they had what it took to beat D Cube. The Number was finally knocked down to 4 for the Final. These were Mark Brennan, Hilanna Toner, David Shevlin and Donal Mc Cullough. In the end Aughnamullen man David Shevlin came out on Top to win the €5000. Congratulations David. The Club would like to thank all those who contributed especially all those who put the money where their mouth was. We eventually got the upper hand and won on the final scoreline Drumhowan 1-12 Éire Óg 1 – 8 Scorers were Kevin Mooney 0-4 (1f) Kieran Mooney 1-0 Niall Mooney 0- 2 Kieran Mc Elroy 0 -2 John Paul O Neill 0-2 Anthony Mulligan 0 – 1 Liam Mc Guirk 0 – 1 Next game is not till mid July.
Platinum Tanks RFL Div 1B – Last Wednesday 11th June we were away to Emyvale. Ater a good first half display we fell away in the 2nd half The Full Time Score was Emyvale 2 – 13 Drumhowan 0 – 6 We took on Cremartin away from home last Wednesday night the 18th June at 8pm. The last game before the holiday break will be at home to fellow parishioners Ballybay on Tuesday 24th June at 8pm
Mc Elvaneys Recycling MFL Div 1 – No games now due to the exam break. Next game will be on Tuesday 8th July.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Div 1 The U16s now are now on their exam break. They will play Corduff on Thursday 26th June in Drumhowan at 7.30pm
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Div 3 -Today the Thursday 19th June the U14s take on Doohamlet at home at 7pm.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Div 2A – The U12s continued their good start with a victory over Tyholland on Saturday. The full time score was Drumhowan 2 – 14 Tyholland 3 – 8. They take on Cremartin away this Saturday 21st June at 12 noon.
U8 Go Games blitz scheduled for this weekend in Cloghan will startThe under 8 team is out on Saturday 21st in Cloghan. Please be there for 9.15. It will finish at around 11.30
