Eurotech JFL – Over the past week we took on Blackhill and Toome. Both games ended in defeat. Last Wednesday we suffered a heavy defeat to near neighbours Blackhill. The full time score was Blackhill 3 -9 Drumhowan 1 – 6 . Last Sunday 20th April while we played to a higher standard the game in Páirc Mhic Eoin still ended in defeat with Toome snatching a point in injury time to win Drumhowan 1 – 8 Toome 1 – 9. The next game is this Saturday night once again in Drumhowan, this time at 7pm. The opposition is once again a neighbouring club namely Aughnamullen.
Platinum Tanks RFL Div 1B – Last night we took on Castleblayney Faughs away. Please check Twitter or Facebook for result. The next game at the minute is not fixed until Wednesday 21st May at home to Tyholland.
Mc Elvaneys Recycling MFL Div 1 – On Tuesday 15th April St Patricks took on the Harps. The game was a tight one but in the end the final score was St. Patricks 1 – 9 Monaghan Harps 2 – 9. On last Tuesday 22nd April we took on Killanny away from home and next Tuesday 29th April we will take on Carrick In Ballybay at 7.30. This will complete the 1st half of the league.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Div 1 Last Thursday St Patricks suffered a heavy defeat in the end against the Harps even though there was only 4 points in it with a little over 10 mins left. Full time Score was St. Patricks 3 – 10 Monaghan Harps 5 – 16. Tonight (Thursday 24th April) they take on Clontibret in Drumhowan at 7pm.

The next game in this division will a home one against table toppers Cremartin on Saturday 3rd May once again at 12 noon.

Go Games Referee – We are looking for referees for the Go Games Under 8/10. Each club must supply at least 2 referees. You must be over 14 and you will receive €15 per blitz. Anyone interested contact Donal Mc Adam,
Go Games 2014 – The first Blitz of the year takes place this Saturday 26th April at 10am in Threemilehouse. This will be a double blitz for both the Under 8 and Under 10 squads. We will have games against Seans, Ballybay and Rockcorry. All players should be at Ballybay Community College for 8-50 to go on the bus – The bus will return back around 12-15 approx – An early start so bed early Friday night !!
D Cube – Drumhowan are pleased to announce they will be the first club in Monaghan to run D Cube Fundraiser. It will take place on Saturday 14th June. €5000 euro to be won. Old Photos – as part of photo exhibition taking place in Community Centre in June the club are on the look out for old photos down through the years up to the present day. These photos can be be of winning/loosing teams, action shots or those taken at various social events. They will be catalogued, filed and copied and then returned to the owner.
