Platinum Tanks RFL Div 1B – The Bs had their first home game of the season last Sunday. However once again they suffered defeat to neighbours Cremartin. The full time score was Drumhowan 2 – 6 Cremartin 3 – 15 The next game will be an away one to fellow parishioners Ballybay on Saturday 5th April at 7pm.
Mc Elvaneys Recycling MFL Div 1 – Due to the postponement of their first league game on Tuesday March 25th the minors opened their campaign on Tuesday 1st April with a home game to Scotstown. They will play away to Donaghmoyne on Tuesday 8th April at 7pm. Please note that the minors will play in Ballybay this year.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Div 1 St Patrick’s will start with an away game to Corduff on Thursday 3rd April (tonight) at 6.30pm. Their next game will also be away to Donaghmoyne on Thursday 10th April at 6-30pm Their home games will be in Drumhowan this year.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Div 3 – On Saturday 22nd March the U14s fell to an opening day defeat against Éire Óg. With 2 players injured and another on holidays a very young team was fielded and when a black card was received much of the game was played with 10 men as only the bare 11 were togged out. Full Time Score in Páirc Mhic Eoin was Drumhowan 5 -11 Éire Óg 7 – 12 . Next game will be on Saturday 5th April at 12 noon with an away game to Doohamlet.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Spring League Zone F The U12s made it 2 wins out of 2 when they narrowly defeated Doohamlet last Saturday 29th March. Full Time score was Drumhowan 0 -10 Doohamlet 0 – 9. Their next game will be an away one once again, this time to Clontibret on Saturday 12th April at 12 noon.

Farney Academy Easter Camp.
Monaghan Coaching and Games Development will be running their annual 3-Day Easter Camp for both boys & girls between the 22nd and 24th of April in Pearse Park Ballybay between 10am to 2-30pm. Cost of the camp is €40 per child & €35 for additional children from the same family.The camp caters for boys and girls aged between 5-12 with a wide range of fun games and activities delivered at each camp with Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie being at the core of every activity.You can download a form on the Monaghan GAA website and please return your application form to Paul O’ Connor in Cloghan on or before the Thursday the 17th of April.
Go Games Referee – We are looking for referees for the Go Games Under 8/10. Each club must supply at least 2 referees. You must be over 14 and you will receive €15 per blitz. Anyone interested contact Donal Mc Adam.
