Drumhowan 1-14, Cremartin 1-7.
Drumhowan picked up their second piece of silverware at adult level when they added the Platinum Tanks sponsored reserve football league division 2 title to their junior football championship title which they won on Sunday week last, when they proved too strong for Cremartin in the reserve final that was played in good conditions in Blackhill on Saturday afternoon last. Drumhowan were never headed in the entire contest, getting off to a good start with Kieran Mooney and Ciaran Deery finding the range early on to help keep their noses in front.
Cremartin suffered a blow though in the early stages when they lost Michael Morgan through injury and it later transpired that he had suffered a double fracture of his leg as well as ankle damage. It was a blow that seemed to take some of the momentum out of Cremartin as thereafter Drumhowan held the upper hand and Cremartin never looked like turning it around.
