Scór na nÓg- Well done to the Scór na nÓg quiz team who came third in the All- Ireland final on Saturday last. The boys did very well made club and county very proud.
Scór Sinsir- Drumhowan GFC will be taking part in Scor Sinsir on Saturday next, 25 February at 7 p.m. in Ardaghey Community Centre. The Club will be represented in the Figure Dancing (Miriam Mc Mahon, Angela Duffy, Elaine Deery, Ashling Hughes, Pauline Grogan, Lorraine Maguire, Martina Walsh, Margaret Quinn), Solo Singing (Carmel Duffy), Recitation (Brendan Duffy) and Question Time (Anthony Brennan, Noel Duffy, Pat Bolger)
Presentation Night- The Juvenile Presentation and Registration night will take place this Friday 24th February 2012. Here medals will be presented to the u12 team from 2010 and the u14 and U16 teams from 2011. We will also acknowledge the great success of the Scór na nÓg groups over the past 2 years. This night will also serve as a registration night for all members. In order to play this is compulsory. An adult must attend on the night to do this. A number of the committee on the night will be there to help you fill out the forms. We would also ask all families that have juvenile players to become Friends of Drumhowan. This automatically makes parents/ guardians and all children under the age of 18 members of the club. This can be done for €10 a month by direct debit which is great value when you consider that all teams meet up at least twice a week for 8 months are trained by qualified and garda vetted coaches. The money goes to the affiliation and insurance of all teams plus other running costs within the club. Refreshments will be served and it will begin at 7.30pm.
Friends of Drumhowan- Most forms have been sent out for Friends of Drumhowan. Payments may also be made on the registration night this Friday.
U 12 and U 14- Training will commence on Monday nights at 7pm.
U 7 and U 10- Training will take place on Monday nights at 7om indoors.
