U16s – training continues Thursday evenings on Ballybay Astro Turf and in Drumhowan on Sunday mornings at 10.30am. Their first game will be on Thursday 31st March.
U12 & U14 – Training for these panels continues on Monday and Thursdays at 7pm. The Under 12 Spring League commences Saturday 19th March with the U14’s throwing in a week later on March 26th. We hope to organise a challenge game or two before the competitions commence.
U10 – We had 2 teams at the Indoor Blitz in Ballybay on Saturday morning last. We had a number of games against both Blayney and Clontibret. This was the final weekend of this Indoor Blitz which was really enjoyed by all our players. Training is now on the pitch at 7pm on Monday evenings.
Croke Park – We are running a bus to the top of the table clash AFL game between Monaghan v Dublin in Croke Park on this Saturday for our juvenile teams. The bus will depart Ballybay Community College at 4.30pm sharp and return around 10-30pm. All children should wrap up well and take a drink and a snack with them as Croke Park can be both cold and expensive.
Level 1 Course – Any Foundation coaches who wish to move up to next level there is Level 1 course on March 11th/ 12th. See Monaghan website for details.
Congratulations to fellow parishioner Ryan Wylie on securing a Sigerson Cup medal with UCD in University Ulster last Saturday. Also commiserations to Dessie Ward who was on the losing DCU Team.
Junk Kouture 2016 Club members, Ciara Quinn, Sadhbh Mc Elearney along with Denise Mc Keown (Domestic Jungle) and Aine Grogan, Christina Sherry along with Alina Wortmann (Lampshade Bingo) are taking part in Junk Kouture in Millennium Forum Derry on Friday, 4 March.
