Indoor Winter Training – The Club  are running our Indoor training again this year starting on this Saturday Breakfast Morning Presentationevening at 6pm. The 4 week program this year is targeted for children aged from 5 to 8 years old. It will take place on Saturday evenings during the month of November in Ballybay Recreation Centre from 6pm to 7pm. It will be a mixture of fun and games along with some coaching on the basic skills of the game. All new players are welcome to attend so if you know anyone 5 years or older let them know. To offset the hall rental costs you can make a once off payment the first night of 5 euro. All players should wear track suits and runners and take a bottle of water. See you all Saturday evening.

Féile 2017 -At the end of June 2017 Monaghan ,Cavan and Fermanagh will be hosting the Féile Na nÓg. Hosting is a key part of the ethos of Féile. Host clubs are paired with a visiting team. The players and mentors from the visiting teams stay with members of the host club, and games take place on the host club’s pitch.

Drumhowan will be a host club next year. We will be looking around 14-15 families in the club to host 2 players in your house on Friday 23rd and Sat 24th June 2017. In order to do this adults in the house will have to complete an online vetting form. We will be contacting people in the next week or two to host players so we would ask especially all our Under 12/13/14/15 parents to help us out in this regard. So expect a call or come forward and volunteer to host please. Thanks to all those who have volunteered already.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg and Take Away annual fundraiser will this year see USA country superstar Robert Mizzell take to the stage in Lisdoonan this Saturday 5th November. Dancing will begin at 9-30pm with Cajun Country and then Robert will be on stage at 11-30pm.Tickets are excellent value at just €15. The night before Friday 4th November will see Gerry’s annual Christmas senior citizens party take place at the same venue (Lisdoonan Community Centre). This is a free night with John Hogan providing the entertainment. The evening will commence with dinner at 7pm. All monies raised on the Robert Mizzell night will be distributed to 15 local charities.
