Platinum Tanks RFL Division 2A Semi Final – The Bs finished their league campaign at the semi final stage last  Wednesday 1st of August when they were defeated by Carrick on a 3-8 to 0-9 scoreline. The first half was a low scoring affair but Drumhowan managed to stay in front with the score 0-5 to 0-4  at half time. Carrick scored 2 goals early on in the second half and that meant  Drumhowan were always playing catch up but they did bring it to within 3 with ten minutes left. However that was as good as it got with the Emmets scoring the final 1-2 of the game to leave them victors by eight points. The club would like to thank all the players and management  for their effort  throughout the season

Universal Graphics JFC  –  the championship is at present scheduled for the weekend of the 19th of August. However if Monaghan win their All Ireland Semi Final   there will be no games till September.

Manor Farm U15 Division 3 Cup Semi Final    Truagh 7-11  Drumhowan 5-12   The U15s went under by 5 points on Thursday evening last the 2nd of July  after a brave second half fightback just fell short. A poor opening period left the team with too much to do in the second half. Overall a good season for this young and small panel of players who played out some exciting games all season. Training will continue on for another few weeks and we hope to arrange another game or two for them.
