Juvenile Indoor Winter Training Programme
This runs for the month of November on Saturday evenings commencing on this Saturday 7th from 5-45 to 6-45pm. The U10-12 age group this week will end at 7pm as they will finish off with a game over the full hall.
It all takes place in Ballybay Recreation Centre and it is open to all children aged 5 to 12 years old. Please wear tracksuit and runners and take a bottle of water, a skipping rope and one euro to cover hall Rental Costs.
We are looking for some extra people to help out so if your free come along please. Also looking help from current U14, 16 and Minor players. Many hands make light work !!

Monaghan Coaching Conference – This takes place on this Saturday November 7th in Our Ladys Secondary School Castleblayney commencing at 9am. With a host of excellent speakers and some practical sessions this is an event all coaches should try and attend. This years theme is “Successful clubs;by chance or by design” , so all the workshops and presentations will have a relevance to developing our club and club coaches. This years conference will be both practical & theory based. To name but a few, the presenters include; Dr. Eugene Young (Director of Coaching & Games in Ulster GAA), Oisin McConville ( Former Crossmaglen & Armagh senior player) , Micheal Glover (Ulster Regional Development Hurling Officer) & Ryan Porter (Monaghan Senior Team Coach).  See the Monaghan GAA Website for more details. Child Protection  – Monaghan GAA will be holding two Child Protection courses in Cloghan in the coming weeks. The first will be held on Wednesday 18 November running from 7-10pm. Cost per person is €10
A second course will be held on Wednesday 25 November7-10pm
It is recommended that all those who are involved within GAA clubs have completed a child protection course and this should be repeated every three years. This includes all coaches, committee members, referees, groundsmen, bus drivers and anyone else who may have direct contact with children.
Gerry Mc Elroy Fundraising Dance – once again takes place this year in Lisdoonan Community Centre on Saturday 14th November dancing to Declan Nerney – Tickets are available from Club Chairperson Martin Mc Elearney for anyone who wants to buy.
National Club Draw – at this stage most people should have their tickets to sell. Please support them. First prize is an Opel Corsa Car.
Sympathy – The Drumhowan Club would like to offer it’s sympathy to the Quigley Family and the Currin Club on the death of Aidan Quigley who died recently. Aidan was a former Co. Chairperson and was chairperson the Currin Club when he died.
Congratulations to senior corner forward Kieran Mooney who got married last Friday to Colleen Callan in Corduff with a reception afterwards in the Nuremore Hotel. Wishing the both of them many years of happiness.
AGM – announced last week at the October meeting of the Club Executive  was the date of the 2016 AGM. It will take place on Thursday 26th of November at 8pm
Eurotech JFL FInal  between Rockcorry and Killanny will take place this Sunday 8th November in Drumhowan. Stewards will be needed from 1.15pm All help will be greatly appreciated.
