Eurotech  Junior Football League  –  Drumhowan 1-14  Oram 0-7   Drumhowan Seniors finished off their league campaign last Friday the 30th of June with a 10 point win over Oram The first half proved a tight affair with Oram every bit as good as Drumhowan with scores pretty even. Drumhowan opened the scoring with a  Kieran Mooney point followed by one from Mark Mc Cabe. Oram replied with the next three before new father Kieran Mc Elroy got the first of his two. However Oram had their most productive spell of the game and and after 20 minutes were 0-5 to 0-3 ahead.  Two points from frees by Mark Mc Cabe brought it all level  before the decisive score of the game  came on the 25 minute when Aidan Duffy scored a goal from a Ciaran Duffy pass. Michael Atkinson and Mark Mc Cabe would then score again to leave the half time score Drumhowan 1-7 Oram 0-6
The 2nd half proved to be less exciting than the first with Oram only registering 1 point in the whole half that in the 9th minute.  while Drumhowan registered 7 points  the highlight of  these being 3 long range points from Ciarán Duffy. Barry Mc Guirk fresh from his southern hemisphere break also got on the score sheet in the 20th minute before points from Michael Atkinson and Kieran Mc Elroy finished off the scoring  to leave 10 points in it at the end.

This win coupled with Rockcorry losing to Killeevan means Drumhowan have now qualified for the cup section of the league. This will commence on Friday 20th of July  and mean 5 games against Emyvale, Éire Óg, Cremartin, Aghabog and Clones.
 
Platinum Tanks RFL  Division 2A-  At present the last league game is scheduled for Sunday July 15th v Sean Mc Dermotts away. A win is necessary to qualify for the semi final. The day of this game may change depending on Monaghan’s progress  in the championship.
 
Mallon Foods U17 Division 2 – this league is scheduled to start this Saturday  7th July with St. Patrick’s away to Emyvale at 5.30pm. Please check social media to see if this changes
 
Manor Farm U15 Division 3  Drumhowan 2-18   Corduff  6-13   The U15s  went under by 7 points to Corduff on Thursday evening last the 28th of June. Played in very warm conditions this was a game that Drumhowan were in the lead for most of the game but fell away in the final 10 minutes. Players away on holidays left us the team with no subs so the heat took a toll near the end.
 
Manor Farm U15 Division 3 Championship –  The  U15s travel to Aughnamullen on this Thursday evening  the 5th of July for a 7-30pm start in the first round of the championship. Again we ask for good support for the boys
 
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U13 Division 2 Cup –   Fixtures on hold at the moment as the holiday season kicks in. Next game at present is scheduled for July 15th.
Gr 8 Entertainment U11  Liam Stirrat Development League –  This team are down to play Latton away on this Saturday morning 7th July at 11am but that may be subject to change and could possibly be on Friday evening.  Check social media for confirmation of this.
 
 Monaghan Co. Co. U9 Go Games –  The U9s travelled to Oram on Saturday morning last  the 30th of June and the team competed well. Next Blitz is in Cremartin on 14th July. Training every Monday at 7pm
