Eurotech Junior Football League  The As had a facile win early last Sunday morning the 27th of May when they travelled to Corduff and overcame the homeside on  a 4-25 to 0-2 scoreline. They were in control from the  very beginning  and at half time led by 1-10 to 0-2 scoreline. In the 2nd half they upped it a gear and with the wind scored 3-15 without reply. Of course there will be tougher games to come but still good to  be able get the scores in with 11 players getting on the scoreboard.

Platinum Tanks Crawley Cup RFC  – The Bs were knocked out of the championship last Friday 25th  of May with an away game to Doohamlet. Doohamlet controlled the game from the start and by half time they led  by 2-8 to 1-4 and in the 2nd half pulled even further  ahead to leave the full time scoreline,  Drumhowan 2-7 Doohamlet 4-12.
 
Platinum Tanks RFL  Division 2A The Bs met Doohamlet once again this time in the league last night Wednesday 30th  May. Please check social media for a result
Manor Farm U15 Division  3   Truagh 7-13   Drumhowan 3-10 . The U15s  were well beaten by a bigger stronger Truagh side on last Thursday evening. This competition now takes a break for the exams and the next match is away to Inniskeen on 21st June.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U13 Division 2  –  The next week  is a busy one for the U13s. The U13s played Latton in the first round of the championship on Wednesday 30th in Drumhowan at 7.15pm. The winner of this game then has a semi final in Aghabog next Thursday night 7th June. This Saturday June 2nd the team travels to Oram for 2pm to play Clan Na Gael in the league.
Gr 8 Entertainment U11  League–  Summer league commences on Saturday June 9th
U7 and U9s Blackhill Sports day takes place Monday next  4th June at 2pm. The Under 7 and 9 times have been invited to take part. Please support as it’s always a good family fun day.
Speedy recovery to James Mc Entee who got injured at training a few weeks back. Hopefully we will see him back in action soon.

Aldi Community Games  –  last weekend in Limerick a number of parishioners took part in National Finals. Well done to Sinead Duffy who took part in the U16 Recitation. Then in the swimming the 3 Currans – Eanna, Conor and Ruadhán took part along with Aisling Duffy. Finally in the  U13 cross country Tom Doherty and Eoin Sheridan were successful participants. The U13 team won a national bronze medal and Tom himself came 4th in the individual placings. Well done one and all.
