Club Notes 24/10/17

Eurotech JFL – The Seniors finished their League campaign for 2017 courtesy of an early morning text on Saturday morning saying Killeevan had conceded the game scheduled for 4.30pm. The club would like to thank the players and management team of Martin Duffy,  Gavin Sheridan and David Mc Gregor for their effort during the year. Here’s hoping for a better 2018.

Scór na bPáistí took place in Clontibret on Saturday  evening last. Drumhowan were represented in Figure Dancing (Rachel Brennan, Laura Mc Mahon), Solo Singing (Andrea Sherry), Quiz (Jerome Lavella, Martin Quinn, Sean Ward, Anna Leonard), Set Dancing (Laura Mc Mahon, Rachel Brennan, Lauren Hanratty, Fiona Markey, Mary Walsh, Joseph Lennon, Marisa Mallon, Aoibheann Sullivan). All competitors did themselves and their Club proud. Set Dance team got 1st place and were presented with their trophies by County Footballer, Dessie Mone. Club members were very active on the day with Stephen Mc Mahon acting as MC, Colm Mc Mahon as  Adjudicator in Instrumental Music with Pauline and Niall Grogan helping backstage. Scór na nÓg is  scheduled for  Saturday  25 November in Threemilehouse. Anyone interested in participating please contact Pauline Grogan on 086 0702129

Congratulations to Emma Mooney and Finnian Shannon who were married in Ballintra last Saturday 21st October with a reception afterwards in the Glencarn. Wishing the both of them many years of happiness.
