Eurotech JFL Drumhowan 1-17 Rockcorry 2 -13 – Last Saturday  the 10th of June  it finally happened the senior team  got off the mark and secured their 1st win of the league campaign  at their 6th attempt.  Rockcorry got off to a great start and after 10 minutes were 1-5 to 0-1  ahead with Drumhowan’s sole point coming from captain Kevin Mooney.  However the 2nd quarter  proved better fare with  Mark Mc Cabe and Ciaran Duffy scoring 7 points between them to leave the half time score  Drumhowan 0-8 Rockcorry 1-8.  Rockcorry stepped it up again at the beginning of the second half and Drumhowan  fell  behind 7 points again but this time  Michael Atkinson scored a goal followed by 6 points  to go two points ahead in injury time where Rockcorry kicked another to leave the full time score Drumhowan 1-17 Rockcorry 2-13

Manor Farm U14 Division  3  –  The  U14s  play Doohamlet on this Saturday at 12pm at home. All players should be at the pitch for 11.30. Last week the squad  defeated Tyholland in the first round of the Championship. A good start made the difference in the end as the play became scrappy in the second half. Doohamlet are the opposition  in the semi final at a later date.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Division 2   Clontibret 6-11  Drumhowan 1-10   The U12s were well beaten by a slick and skillful Clontibret side on Saturday last.  Next game is against Aghabog either next Monday or Tuesday evening at 7.15pm in Drumhowan.
GR 8 U10 Go Games  –  Go Games Blitz on this Saturday in Scotstown. All players should be in Scotstown for 9.40am
GR8 Go Games Double Blitz – The Club  hosted a Double Blitz for Under 8& 10 s last week. There was 7 games going over the two pitches with over 130 children taking part. A few Under 8 players made their debut in the blue and gold. Thanks to all who helped on the night to run the event smoothly and to the ladies who provided refreshments in the kitchen
John West Féile Peile na nÓg – The countdown continues till Friday 23rd June when our visitors from Dunboyne arrive to stay with 12 local host families. We hope to take them along with our U14 side to the Monaghan v Down match in Armagh on the Saturday evening. There will be a clean up around the centre and grounds on this Wednesday and Thursday night at 8pm . The 14s  will have two matches in Tyholland on the Friday evening commencing at 4.30pm. Then the squad will  play in Drumhowan on Saturday morning at 10am before travelling  to Kingscourt for another game in the afternoon.
